Keith Murray is an iconic rapper, entertainer, actor, and a member of the legendary rap trio Def Squad, which includes rapper/producer Redman and Erick Sermon. Keith was born May 29, 1973 in Central Islip, New York. Keith learned to take care of himself at an early age when he lost both of his parents to society and turned his energy into rapping.He started his rap career under the name of MC Do Damage and battledBig Daddy Kane before he even ever recorded an album. Later, he was introduced to Erick Sermon of EPMDby K-Solo where Erick included Keith on his album No Pressure released in 1993 on the single “Hostile”. The album peaked at #16 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and reached #2 on the R&B Albums chart. This was the spark to ignite Keith Murray’s career in the music industry.His first album, The Most Beautifullest Thing in This World, was released in 1994 on Jive Records hitting U.S. Billboard 200 chart Peak position at #34, U.S. R&B Albums peaking at #5, U.S. Hot rap singles charting at #3 and was given 4 mics by The Source.
