The 6th Annual Hamtramck Music Fest is a live music event in Detroit’s beloved enclave of Hamtramck, March 7–9, 2019. Celebrating Metro Detroit’s diverse music community, audiences hop venue to venue via foot, car, or shuttle to experience live performances by hundreds of bands in dozens of Hamtramck’s favorite bars, venues and restaurants. Enjoy three days and nights of live music for the community, with many shows 18 and up, as well as daytime performances for family audiences. All donated festival proceeds in 2019 will go to the Hamtramck Public Schools Music and Art programs.
Thu. March 7th is the opening night kick-off party at Ant Hall and at Ghost Light where Valid is set to grace the stage along with other bands and talented musicians of many genres! French record label Amasia Records just released Epicenter, the latest effort from producer duo Shimshon and Synes. The 10-track album features MC’s from all over the globe on Shimshon and Syne’s production, and opens up with Detroit MC’s Valid, SupaEmcee, and Aztek The Barfly with their new track #EVIL. From Fri. July 20- to Sun. July 22, 2018 The Russell Industrial Center will be hosting the Annual Michigan Glass Project Festival!
The festival is a live art and music event that focuses on giving back to the the community by raising money in efforts to bring back art classes to Detroit Public Schools.
On Sunday night the 22nd, the weekend will end with a bang when Hip-Hop legend Kool Keith hits the stage, which will be immediately followed by Crate Digga & Friends!
Crate’s big grand finale for the weekend will include performances from Valid, Aztek The Barfly, Doc Waffles, Sheefy McFly, Eddie Logix, Josef Coney Island, and of course the man himself,
DJ Crate Digga!
