Within the last month Nolan The Ninja has definitely made some power moves to further his art and career. Dropping two new joints on his soundcloud page, one featuring the legendary Guilty Simpson, and the other featuring one of Hip-Hop’s freshest new entities, Red Pill. The best part about it all is that the features are secondary, the fact the tracks are dope and the music is good is what is most important here. Music should be about the music first and foremost, rather than the package its wrapped up in which is often the case unfortunately. But, Nolan certainly shows the “Integrity” he has for the game with Guilty and goes rhyme for rhyme with Red Pill of the Ugly Hero gang on “Abyss”. Peep both 5ynoT productions below…
Not only is Nolan putting out dope music as an MC, but also as one of the best with the beats on the scene in the current state of Detroit Hip-Hop. The new video for “Lady In Infrared” from A-Minus & Semi Six is a smooth video and track dedicated to the ladies and is produced by, you guessed it, The Ninja! Peep the video below and make sure to pay attention to Nolan The Ninja.

In the description of the mixtape Vlada writes..
“When “Rebirth Of Detroit” was released few years ago I got familiar with Detroit Hip Hop for the first time. This might sound crazy but I live in Valjevo, Serbia and that is other part of the planet. It was very hard to do my research. I always thought that Detroit Hip Hop has Eminem, Dilla, Proof and maybe two more names, but I was sooooooo wrong. Anyway, I started doing my research and today I can say that Detroit represent that thing (I dont know how to describe it) that made me fall in love with HIP HOP almost 25 years ago and for that all I can say is: (more…)
