Helping The Homeless Through Hip-Hop

On November 9th, the Detroit Hip-Hop community will come together to help those less fortunate. The Majestic Theater will be hosting DETROIT HIP-HOP ELEVATION where you will be able to catch some of Detroit’s best MC’s for a small donation of gently used clothing or canned foods. Come check out Kuniva of D12, Big Herk, Finale, 7 The General, Awesome Dre, Miz Korona, Ron.D, Sheefy Mcfly and many more as you help those in need!

Just days before the news hit the media of J. Dilla’s stash of vinyl, tapes, notebooks and etc. was found and given to his mother Maureen Yancey, she sat down with www.valid313.com and dropped some knowledge on artistic appreciation over seas opposed to in the states, and shared bits and pieces of J Dilla’s musical influence, and much more!
